M1 Mac UI issues

I'm having some UI issues on my m1 Mac. Running through the tutorial for the first time I ran into the following issues:
1. The loading animation for downloading a model does not load properly the first time around. To see the pie chart animation filling in I have to start the download, go out of settings, and then go back in.
2. The text showing the download progress is all over the place. Sometimes it is at the very bottom right with not padding other times it is at the top left beneath the window controls, see attached screenshot.


Reproduce the issue on an M1 Mac by following the tutorial and downloading a model from Settings. Inspect the download UI and its loading animation; done when the pie-chart animation appears on the first attempt and the progress text stays consistently positioned with padding.
