Missing example how to "extend and customize"

Hello,
it would be nice to provide some example how to customize and extend this library (since it is titled to be extendable and customizable).
Eg. if someone wants a different layout for editing "patternProperties" or for editing arrays, or want to add a new plugin for a type.

Review the library's existing extension and customization interfaces, including the Bootstrap add-ons, before deciding which examples are needed. Document how to customize layouts for patternProperties and arrays, and how to add a plugin for a type; done when these use cases are covered with runnable examples.
