Description
I see 2 commits https://github.com/bootc-dev/bootc/commit/aef71bf817fe89a9803ca534b331491ce64ab253 and https://github.com/bootc-dev/bootc/commit/28b557c8d2f5ed423a834bc57b55e2572a29ab20 which seem to be trying to fix rootfs mislabeling with root.transient=1 (latter one is related to issue https://github.com/bootc-dev/bootc/issues/1992), but I currently observe on my system with root.transient that rootfs still has tmpfs_t label instead of root_t
distro: Fedora Silverblue 44.20260817.0
bootc version: 1.16.7
rpm-ostree version: 2026.2
ostree version: 2026.3

Research direction
Start by reproducing the reported label on Fedora Silverblue with root.transient enabled, using the listed bootc, rpm-ostree, and ostree versions. Compare commits aef71bf817fe89a9803ca534b331491ce64ab253 and 28b557c8d2f5ed423a834bc57b55e2572a29ab20, then verify that the rootfs receives root_t rather than tmpfs_t.
