Description
Hey!
I have a problem regarding my installation of Howdy 2.6.1 on Fedora 35. Unfortunately, facial recognition does not work in GUI apps, despite it working on the start up screen and terminal. Specifically, Howdy is caught in an infinite loop and the authentication process only stops after a restart of the whole computer. Just closing the app does not work. Do you know anything that could be the issue in that case?
I have found the similar issue #123 but that has been a while back and has supposedly been fixed.
Thank you very much for your help!
Best regards
Gabriel

Research direction
The report names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by reproducing sudo authentication from a Fedora 35 GUI application and compare it with the working terminal and startup cases. Trace the infinite loop and confirm that authentication exits normally without requiring an application or system restart.
