Timeline chart is not working with difference of few hours

I'm using 2.3.11 grails version for my project and I'm using Timeline graph. Graph display works if column start date and end date difference is in days and if it is in hours then it won't display, it shows as 0 duration.
I want to show graph duration in hours.

Start by reproducing the Timeline chart with start and end times only a few hours apart in the Grails 2.3.11 setup described here. Trace the plugin's Timeline integration and compare its handling of hour-scale and day-scale durations; done means durations of a few hours render instead of displaying as zero.
