Proxy support for connectors

Thanks for the proxy support in #3859 #3860 #3867 #3868 #3869

As far as I understand, proxy support is currently only for outgoing health checks. Is it possible to add proxy configuration options for the connectors as well?

This would be very helpful in enterprise environments, where the internet access is only possible with a proxy.
