Email auth required but should not be

**Describe the bug**
the UI and Sent test requires that a password is entered, but Google Workspace uses IP whitelists instead of email auth, and does not allow smtp auth anymore. I cannot configure email notification at this time.

**Expected behavior**
auth and password should be optional.

Start by locating the email notification configuration UI and the Sent test mentioned in the report. Trace where authentication and password are required, then verify that both can be omitted while configuring a provider that uses IP whitelisting instead of SMTP auth. Done means email notification can be configured and tested without email authentication credentials.
