Description
From what I can see it is only possible to monitor docker containers on the same machine as the checkmate server is running on, exposing docker.sock access via volume.
What if I want to monitor docker containers on different machines? Would I have to spin up checkmate server installations on each and every one of them?

Research direction
Start by reviewing how Checkmate currently monitors Docker containers through the host's docker.sock, then identify the existing check configuration and execution entry points. Define how a remote machine would be reached and authenticated, and consider how completion would be validated across different hosts; the issue does not name specific files or tests.
