Description
**Describe the bug**
Currently the project remotes do not show remotes in Github, only if they are in Relay
**Steps to reproduce**
1. Enable Projects and have at least one project registered. Go to 'Projects'
2. Click on Any Project
3. Click Dropdown that says local, and select Remote
4. See error: Repository not initialized The project announcement exists, but its git repository was not found on the Buzz relay.
**Expected behavior**
If remote is Github, that remote should show up here
**Version and platform**
- Buzz version: 1.4.4
- OS: Tahoe 26.6.1
**Logs / additional context**
Paste any relevant logs, error messages, or screenshots here.

Research direction
Start from the Projects view's Local/Remote dropdown and trace the path that produces the “Repository not initialized” message. Check how GitHub remotes are detected versus Relay repositories. Done means a registered project with a GitHub remote appears when Remote is selected, without requiring the repository to exist on the Buzz relay.
