Save buzz: Feature freeze, focus on bugs / usability / perf

I really started using Buzz with 0.5.4 and was quickly able to get really productive with an insane amount of work done over one weekend with 4-6 agents running reliably and continuously.
I've been installing updates as they came, this app is now barely usable. CPU is spiking at 100% with 1-2 agents (M5 Max, 64Gb), anthropic agents became unreliable af - not completing theirs tasks, the UI is slow (lags when typing in chatbox, lags when opening threads, lags when scrolling, etc), it's a torture.

Incredibly sad

Start by reproducing the CPU spikes, unreliable agent completion, and UI lag with one or two agents on the reported setup. The issue names no file, test, or entry point; a useful follow-up should identify the affected areas and define separate performance and reliability checks for completion.
