Description
Environment:
- Windows 11 x64
- Buzz Desktop v0.4.22 (x64 setup alpha unsigned)
- Node.js v22.22.2
- npm 10.9.7
- Claude Code 2.1.217: installed and runnable from PowerShell
- Codex CLI 0.145.0: installed and runnable from PowerShell
Steps:
1. Install Buzz Desktop v0.4.22 on Windows.
2. On “Set up your agent harnesses”, Buzz detects Claude Code and Codex.
3. Click INSTALL for either agent to install the ACP adapter.
Expected:
ACP adapter installs successfully.
Actual:
Both cards show “Installation failed”.
Relevant main-process logs:
Unknown channel: agentHostClientByokLm
Unknown channel: agentHostClientProxy
The agents directory only contains managed-agents.json and retention.db; no adapter files are created.
