Description

The color (for me, white-on-blue) of the text line that comes up when your mosh connection has hung is the very same color as the modelines of some of my programs. For instance, the IRC client WeeChat.

This means that I can sit staring at a WeeChat window for quite awhile waiting for a response to something I’ve typed before noticing that the connection has hung.

Can you add code so that, before drawing this line, it looks at the colors used in the top line already, and uses different ones? Or, failing that, make the colors configurable (I’d change mine to white-on-bright-red)?

(If this is already available in the CSS, I can’t find the identifier, so I’d appreciate tht.)

Research direction

The issue does not name a file or test. Start by locating the mosh session-loss status line and the existing top-line color or CSS handling; done means the loss status is visibly distinct from the top line or its colors can be configured.
