Blink shell does not auto scroll to prompt line

It seems like the terminal screen is not scrolling to the bottom as new lines get added in from terminal prompt. So I have to scroll to the bottom manually with my finger. Default behavior should be that the screen follows the terminal prompt right? This happens spontaneously, so not sure what causes this. Is there a setting or some issue on my end?
