Description

Using IWQ for my research literature review workflow: discovery -- read -- annotate -- write -- edit. This means sometimes I want a randomly interleaved queue, and other times I manually click the next item to work on.

Adding a block is great, but the blockref listed in the queue is meaningless.
I've tried manually editing the queue with the [[blockref \| Alias]] and ![[blockref transclusion]] -- which works perfectly and displays meaningful items in the queue...

Until it doesn't. The whole queue gets deleted as soon as I add another item to that queue. (ctl+z brought it right back, though.)

Workaround for now: Copy everything into a separate tranclusion queue, which doesn't get anything added to it. The automatic adding happens in the other queue, and then I manually copy everything over and add the !

Research direction

Reproduce the issue in an Obsidian vault using an IWQ queue: add a block, manually change it to an aliased block reference or transclusion, then add another item. Compare the queue before and after the addition; done means these entries remain intact and display meaningful content instead of the queue being deleted.
