Swarm project status?

The last update to `swarm` was in 2019; since then it looks like several issues and PRs have stalled.

There are a few companies that have forked `swarm` for their own use, all of which are only ahead by several commits: https://useful-forks.github.io/?repo=bitwalker/swarm

Has development paused in favor of some other successor library or project? (EDIT: Maybe [horde](https://github.com/derekkraan/horde)?) Were there any wider ecosystem changes that have led to `swarm` development being put on hiatus indefinitely?

I noticed that [Paul's website](https://bitwalker.org/) is also down/broken (EDIT: [adding /index.html made the page work, though his last blog post was in 2018](https://bitwalker.org/index.html)) and he hasn't [posted on Twitter](https://twitter.com/gotbones) in a few years, though he's got pretty recent GH contributions on his profile. Paul, I hope you're okay and doing well! Unrelated, but if you set up GitHub sponsors I'd love to sponsor you. 😄

Note: I fully understand how difficult maintaining an open-source project is and that priorities change and life happens. I mean no ill will with my question. I just wanted to check in and see how the project was doing and if there's anything I can do to help I'd love to assist!
