Description

I am trying recover my BTS from an old Protoshares wallet.dat, have gone through evert walk through I can find and at this point am unsure if it's something I'm doing wrong or an issue with the new client. From my understanding the supported process is to get the wallet to 0.9.3c then 2.0. Any help would really be appreciated!

After downloading the blockchain and syncing, I was able to import the wallet to 0.9.3c and can see my available balance as BTS, NOTE, and NOTE TEST. I then export through console command and create a .json. From here I struggle. Whether I'm using the light client or web, when I select the .json to import I will see the account name from 0.9.3c and keys. I enter the password and click "Submit" but nothing happens. No error message, nothing changes. Still no balance to claim. I would think I must be using the correct password since I needed to use it to import the wallet to 0.9.3c but maybe I am mistaken. Again, any help is really appreciated. Thanks!

Research direction

Start by reproducing the reported import flow in the light client or web interface using the JSON exported from BitShares 0.9.3c, then inspect why submitting the password produces no visible change. The issue names no source file or test; done would require a clear import result and a confirmed path for the old balance to become claimable.
