Container unusable if a user logs out or container is restarted

Hello,

If a user logs out of the container's XFCE desktop, it goes to a black screen. If we attempt to restart the container, the user can log back in and see the task bar and dock, but cannot access the Orange application.

Is there a better way to prevent this situation from happening or get the container back to a usable state?
