Description
When I ran multivariate-effect-size-by-category command with the parameter "--p-max-levels-per-category 10" , I found a ValueError (see attached figure). And the program ran fine when I removed this setting.

Research direction
Reproduce the multivariate-effect-size-by-category command with --p-max-levels-per-category 10 and compare it with the same command without that setting. Use the attached figure to identify the ValueError and trace the failing path from the command entry point. Done means the parameter no longer raises the reported error while the command still runs correctly.
