Description

I am currently implementing a default model of BIRDMAn, and I would like to know if I can add covariables in the analysis. How can I implement this function? Here is the code I tried.

nb = NegativeBinomial(
table=table_filt,
formula="group+age",
metadata=metadata,
)

Research direction

The issue names no file or test path. Start by tracing the NegativeBinomial entry point and how its formula and metadata arguments are handled; verify whether the default-model analysis supports the shown covariate formula and what behavior is expected when it does.
