Feature Request: Position tabs at bottom of window

Description
It would be nice if it was possible to select where the tabs are located,
1. Top (default)
2. Bottom
3. Left
4. Right
I'm guessing 3 and 4 would be significantly more work than 2. That is if moving the tabs to the bottom is possible at all.
