U2C blow up USB ports Raspberry pi.

After connecting 24V DC PSU to the U2C V2.1 in combination with an EBB36 my usb ports of me Raspberry pi no longer work.
This already happened with and BTT PI4B+CB1 and my Raspberry pi 4 B 4GB.

The 4 canbus wires are connected to the screw terminals along with the PSU wires.
I connected the following to the screw terminals.
24V DC PSU -> U2C VIN -> EBB36 VIN
0V DC PSU -> U2C GND -> EBB36 GND
U2C Can-H -> EBB36 Can-H
U2C Can-L -> EBB36 Can-L

Am I doing something wrong?
Yes! I checked the connections because it is known that the U2C and EBB36 connections are not 1 to 1 the same.

In the meantime, I have already ordered a new U2C.

Start by reviewing the U2C V2.1 and EBB36 power and CAN wiring described in the issue, including the 24V PSU connections. Compare the behavior on the Raspberry Pi 4 and BTT PI4B+CB1, and determine whether the documented wiring explains the USB-port failure; done means the cause and safe connection guidance are established.
