Feature Request: always on with screen sleep setting option

The panda touch's auto sleep puts the device into a deep sleep and needs to be manually woken with an interaction.

I would like to request that the screen burn in protection be separate from the device's sleep function. I would like to keep the device always on, but have a time out for the display only. This would save the delay in having to manually wake the device.

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points; start by locating the PandaTouch auto-sleep and screen burn-in protection settings in the Python code. Done means the device can remain awake while the display timeout operates independently, with the setting exposed and verified by project tests.
