No Sound With latest Flashes

Somewhere along the line in scripts or something the sound isn't being activated on boot. I set it to "ON" in the system.cfg but it still has no input sounds. The screen brightness and LEDs are working correctly. I tried flashing the pad7 with the release pad7_CB1_image and the sound works but I'm unable to use that as I get MCU errors due to it having old klipper v11 and asks me to recompile/flash.

Start by comparing the latest flash with the release pad7_CB1_image, then inspect system.cfg and the scripts involved in boot-time sound activation.
