Description
There is a timeout for the screen to turn OFF. But could there also be something that auto turns the screen ON?
Like I have the K-Touch mounted in the center of multiple printers (on the front of some shelves) so it would be very nice the screen would turn on automatically when something happens on the printer(s). E.g. the current selected printer or perhaps one of the multiple printers in the future.
Examples for turning the screen on:
- When starting/stopping/cancelling/pausing a print
- When executing a macro
- When a heater turns on/off
- Maybe also when a message is sent to the display?
It would make the screen more useful in my opinion. And I'll be less likely to forget it's there as well and thus use it more often 😄 And it might also notify me this way something is happening on a printer. Like, the screen turns on, so something might need my attention.
(I didn't see this issue, but please kick it to there or remove it when it's a duplicate)

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by locating the existing screen-off timeout and the event handling for print, macro, heater, and display-message activity; done means agreeing on which events wake the screen and verifying that the selected printer and future multiple-printer cases behave as intended.
