Description
i have a question about the heat calibration that is done on the probe.
while i like the idea but i think its not working. (atleast not for a voron with chamber)
if im wrong please correct me.
i currently have it installed on my voron 2.4 and found that the Z-offset was complety off (nossle was 0.3 higher than buildplate) at higher temperatures.
when you heat calibrate te probe it never accounts for heatsoaking the buildplate. when i normaly print i heat the buildplate and then wait 30 minutes before i print.
normaly while heating the build plate it deforms like a very small hyperbole because the edges are not at temperature. and at this time you wil performe a heat calibration and i think this is the cause of the z-offset problems at higher temps because of the expanding heated plate that isnt fully heatsoaked.
(this is my current calibration)

what i think would be nice for a calibration routine would be.
1. heat the nossle to 220 - 250
2. do the first heated calibration and record temp (note heated bed is cold then)
3. heat the heated bed to 50 degrees and wait for heatsoaking (20-30 minutes)
4. performe heated calibration and record temp
5. heat the heated bed to 100 degrees and wait for heatsoaking (20-30 minutes)
6.performe heated calibration and record temp
this is just as an example.
i believe expension in some way should be liniar but not to a degree that is seen in the graph. that is way to big of a difference

Research direction
No source files or tests are identified. Start by reproducing the Z-offset change on the stated Voron 2.4 setup, comparing calibration before and after 50°C and 100°C bed heatsoaks; done should be defined by maintainers as a repeatable calibration result that remains accurate after heatsoaking.
