Description

Hi. I have a working custom RPI CM4 board. CB1 module (v2.2) after power on eats 120ma from 5V bus and it looks like it can't start. RX/TX shows nothing, hdmi/ethernet nothing. I tried to set usb boot jumper and connect usb cable (usb id connected to input usb 5V bus using 5.1/5.1 divider) and there is no usb activity at all.

"pon" test point shows 1.01V, "res" testpoint shows 1.8V, "irq" testpoint shows 0V. Input power testpoint shows 5.1V

Also I measured pins 88/90 voltage and get 1.8V. Pins 84/86 shows 3.3V. "3V3" testpoint shows 3.3V

Is there any way to get it working or find out a problem?

My motherboard uses almost all contacts from rpi cm4 module (4 x i2c buses, spi with two slaves, second sdcard, eth 1G, pci, usb) but with CB1 I just want to get ethernet, hdmi and usb

Research direction

No repository files or tests are identified. Begin with the CB1 v2.2 power-on symptoms, custom motherboard wiring, and the reported test-point and pin voltages; compare these with the expected startup behavior and USB-boot indicators. Done means identifying the hardware or compatibility cause, or documenting the missing condition that prevents startup.
