why the hell is this so damn hard

ive been trying for 4 hours and cant get the stuff to be seen regardless of what i do how many videos i watch it never is seen. what the hell happened to plug and play. this is garbage no wonder the sales of these things suck cause you have to be a damn computer programmer to get it to work.. someone help before i throw this thing out the door. btt p i 2`
