Set view transitions types

Is there any way to use view-transitions API and set the view-transition-type to handle the animation better?

I'm trying to implement these view-transitions animations from this documentation https://developer.chrome.com/docs/web-platform/view-transitions/cross-document . I tried to find a way to do this by reading this doc https://htmx.org/examples/animations/
