response-target extension changes the hx-on::after-request error and successul flags

i have installed the extention and it works as expected but swapping html in the #errors divs
however, i have noticed that the event after-request object is modified in a stange way like shown in the picture
the event.detail.failed is set to true

i followed the documentation to add the following meta tag

im basically trying to call a function based on the success or failure after the swap
