Pipeline management.

I'd like some way to break pipelines, so that you could implement a drain, or maybe multiplexing. For the next few chunks, please sent it here, but stop. Some sort of control returned when you create pipelines, or else special pipelines that know how to control themselves. Once you destroy it, the consumer is removed so that everything can be garbage collected.
