Description

We need to give everything a quick once-over for potentially inconsistent naming schemes. This is going into the Goose scope, because fixing names is save-breaking (or at least is save-breaking unless we want to invest significant manual labor in un-fucking player profiles).

One candidate here are commodities, and specifically salvage 3dbs and salvage commodity nicknames.
Not sure if visual effects and sound effects are still inconsistent, but definitely worth checking.

Research direction

No files or tests are named. Start by locating the commodity definitions, including salvage 3DBs and commodity nicknames, then check whether visual and sound effect names follow the same conventions. Done means documenting a consistent naming scheme and identifying the save-compatibility impact on player profiles.
