Improvements to the Python Script and Workflow

I'd like to make some general improvements to the Python script and hammer out some issues we've seen getting this set up in various environments:

- I'd like to streamline the installation process to include Miniconda (I believe @FJonske has already written instructions and provided a YAML file here).
- I'd like an optional Y/N check that warns the user when pulling using the sheet.
- I'd like checks to actually work properly. Right now there's a bunch of functions that I didn't originally test properly that will just fail.
- I'd like to get to the bottom of the CreateID failure @Beaglerush has been having. It's non-critical, but would still like to get it fixed.
