What it does

A map of GPS and GNSS interference indicators built from NACp, the navigation accuracy figure every aircraft includes in its own ADS-B position reports. NACp runs 0 to 11, where 11 means the aircraft believes its position is good to better than 3 metres and 0 means worse than 10 nautical miles or unknown.
Interference drives that number down.

Reports from across the Wingbits receiver network are aggregated into hexagonal cells and recoloured hourly. A date slider gives daily snapshots and puts two days side by side, which is the useful bit when you are trying to work out whether something started on a particular date.

Relationship to GPSJam, already in the toolkit

Same signal, independently measured. GPSJam builds daily maps from ADS-B Exchange and buckets each hex by the share of aircraft reporting low accuracy. This map runs on our own receiver network, updates hourly, colours by the reported NACp value itself rather than a share threshold, and puts two days side by side. The two can disagree over the same hex, which is the point: a second independent measurement of the same airspace.

Limits, which the page itself states

Low reported accuracy is not proof of jamming. Spoofing, satellite geometry, multipath and older avionics all degrade NACp. Regional patterns carry meaning; a single aircraft does not. The map shows what aircraft observe and does not attribute a source. We deliberately do not label anything as confirmed jamming.

Coverage follows the receiver footprint. No data means no receivers.
