Beets should remove deleted albums from history while updating

I'm currently upgrading a lot of albums which are already in the library.
I'm using incremental mode, and most upgraded albums are ignored as the path already exists in the history.
The folders are empty, thus no files in the library but records in the history, which leads to the upgraded folders being skipped on incremental import.

Would it be possible to remove missing entries from history, as this blocks upgraded albums from being rescanned?
