Description

**USER FEEDBACK**

1) **Coordinate system**: (see above for happiness about click option!); if going to type in coordinates, could be nice if it’s in the **degrees decimal minutes format instead of decimal degrees**, since this is the format that we use on wildfires (so most burn plans will be written in that format; otherwise have to convert if not using the click feature)

2) **Weather station selection**: would it be possible to indicate more than one reference station for a burn, where **values could be interpolated between the stations**? We have a couple projects that are midway between stations and would likely show indices somewhere in the middle.

3) **Notification email**: would it be possible to allow for **more than one** notification email? That way the Zone lead and the WPO could both be notified.

4) **Weather Indices**: required vs optional: we have a couple burn plans that don’t indicate temp and RH and instead rely on FFMC and ISI to get at those drivers; would it be possible to make **all weather parameters optional,** to allow for greater flexibility in how different burn plans are written? Also in some instances we only specify a minimum or a maximum value, but not both.

5) **Weather indices**: ranges for one index contingent on another: **we have several projects where BUI vs. ISI ranges are specified,** but currently the program just offers you to put the full range for either. For example, a BUI of 200 might be acceptable for a project if the ISI is below 6. Or an ISI of 10 might be acceptable if the BUI is below 60, etc etc.

6) **Fuel Type:** **option to supply two fuel types,** if the burn is a real mixture? Or would a good workaround be to enter the same BP twice, once for each fuel type, and see how the results compare? We have one project in particular that is a very open dry forest with significant tall grass fields in between clusters of trees, so both C7 and O1b are referenced in the burn plan. I’ve entered that one as C7 for now, since it still allows me to specify grass curing.

7) **Percent Grass Curing**: I’m assuming this is set up as minimum grass curing required, rather than ideal? Most of our plans specify a range or a minimum. **Need to respond to this one to Alex P and Fons**

8) **Ability to edit/delete submissions**? I accidentally was able to create two entries for the same project, because I hit submit and then the back button, and then hit submit again. So now two lines show up for our Lower Haylmore project. **Could be nice to be able to delete or edit an existing line in the dashboard.** Sorry if that functionality already exists and I just missed it.

9) **Add venting forecast**? Not sure if this got discussed in the original development meetings (I wasn’t able to attend all of them), but a big factor in burn windows is venting index. I’m totally ignorant to how far in advance venting can really be forecast, or how accurately, so this might be a totally ridiculous suggestion. **But is this something that could possibly be incorporated in future**?
