EE Notes Field Character Count

ISSUE:
1. When you create a record, which includes entering data in the Notes field, it recognizes the character count in this field. You go back into the record to edit the Notes field, it displays "0/2000" for the character count. It only updates the count totals when you select in the Notes field, and type a single character, forcing the character count to populate.

SCRIPT:
1. Home (click logo at top) >> Select ""ADD NEW EMPLOYEE""
2. Enter first name >> TAB >> Enter last name >> TAB >> Employee ID >>
3. Enter IDIR >> TAB >> Enter Alternate Name (optional) >> TAB
3A. Notes Field >> TESTS
- Limits character count to 2000
- Can expand and shrink text window with pull down feature
- Exceed character count and get error, cannot proceed till fix it
- Can copy/cut and paste into the Notes Field
- Can use text breaks/indents/numbers/alpha/any character
- Scroll bar on right generates with longer text and works
- Notes field is optional
- When save note, exit record and go back in, even though a note, shows character count as 0 until you select the note field and hit a key/spacebar again then populates note character count.
4. Expand Office Details >> Select Dropdown arrow >> Select ASSIGN OFFICE >> Find applicable office >> 333 >> Select ASSIGN
5. CREATE - Window will close
