Developer Clean Up Time

Purpose of this ticket/issue is to provide the developers with some capacity to take a look at some of the stuff that's been bothering them in the back of their mind that they'd like to address.

Dev's to put some thought into what they'd like to tackle/clean-up and capture in the acceptance criteria below. If you identify something to clean-up below, also add your name as an assignee to this ticket.

Acceptance Criteria:

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points, and its acceptance criteria are empty. Review the project for developer cleanup opportunities, then record a specific cleanup task in the acceptance criteria and add yourself as an assignee. Completion cannot be determined until that scope is defined.
