Research direction

The issue does not identify a repository file, test, or entry point. Start by reproducing multi-selection in the Apryse WebViewer integration and compare behavior between versions 10.3 and 10.4.0-20230920; done means the last selected annotation retains focus, with a regression test or other verification recorded.
