Description

**Problem / Need: What this requirement solves**

The Consent to Continue Out confirmation email contains next-step instructions telling the recipient to forward proof after continuing into the new jurisdiction. During UAT, these instructions and the BC Registry email link were shown near the bottom of the message.

Participants were concerned that members of the public may focus on the consent documents and not scroll far enough to see what they must do after continuing out. Unlike the existing manually supported process, the modernized self-service flow may not include prior direct contact with staff. Moving the information higher would make the required next action easier to identify.

**Scope**

**Included**

- Move the “Next steps” content near the top of the email.
- Clearly state that the recipient must send proof of continuation to BC Registry.
- Prominently display or link the correct contact email.
- Retain the consent expiry information and attachments.
- Review hierarchy, readability, plain language, and accessibility.

**Explicitly excluded**

Changing the legal validity period of the consent.
Changing which documents are generated or attached.
