Description

**Context**

Feedback from the support team highlights recurring pain points on the My Business Registry landing page particularly for callers who need to add their business using the search field on the dashboard.

**Key issues observed by front-line staff**

- Users cannot easily locate the search (retrieve) field at the top of the My Business Registry page. Many attempt to search from within the My List table instead of the field above it.
- The search field is a white input box on an off-white background, making it easy to skim past. Its label lacks the visual weight of the My List heading, which draws the eye downward

**Need**
- Improve visual prominence of the search (retrieve) field on the My Business Registry page

**Intended Impact of enhancement**

- User experience: Reduces confusion for users adding a business for the first time; lowers likelihood of abandonment on expired-link recovery journeys.
- Operational: Expected reduction in Help Desk call handling time and repeated "how do I search?"

Counter to this users have been observed in usability testing using the add business look-up to search for a business in their My Business Registry list, primarily because the look-up was so prominent (particularly on smaller resolution screens).

The design must resolve both of these conflicting usability issues.
