Description
There are restrictions on the ability of companies to Continue In as ULCs. Currently only companies that are ULCs in Alberta and Nova Scotia are permitted (section 51.8).
Options:
- Include verification steps in staff processes. Citizen's will select type of corp in NR but this is an issue for companies continuing in numbered corps. Corp type IS NOT visible on approval screen.
- Or, build a validation check that will only permit ULCs from AB & NS - This would need to be flexible to allow inclusion of other jurisdictions
