GIVEN I am listed as a Significant Individual
WHEN I receive an email to advise that I have been listed as a Significant Individual and must verify my identity
THEN I can click a link to verify my identity using a digital solution (digital solution tbd)

GIVEN I am listed as a Significant Individual
WHEN I receive an email to advise that I have been listed as a Significant Individual and must verify my identity
THEN I can go into a Service BC field office
And Service BC staff can review my physical identity document(s) and data enter the identity document type(s)

GIVEN I am listed as a Significant Individual
WHEN I receive an email to advise that I have been listed as a Significant Individual and must verify my identity
THEN I can send BC Registries a copy of a legal identity affidavit
And BC Registries staff are able to review and approve or reject the affidavit

Considerations
- what if the SI hasn't provided a valid email address?
- what if name listed for the SI in the filing doesn't match the name from the digital identity verification?
- what if an SI doesn't get their email? How do we regenerate the link for verification?
- What if the person who received the email is not the SI (email / SI name mismatch)?
- What is the ideal digital solution (bc wallet, BCSC and Stripe, BCSC and identity affidavit reviewed by document AI?)
- What if in the initial filing we add SI's that were ceased, or add SI's who are active but cease almost instantly. Once ceased identity verification will be challenging. Quebec has a paper based system where a company can specify why they cannot verify the ID (and they do not review all the reasons listed as per their input from legal)
