Description

Assets team is needed to help provide data for a report of the current state of manufactured housing to be delivered to BC Housing

A template of the report can be found at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-G_ia7XrKJZ7w5XipT_5N3nxYsSBL3Zs/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=112197292679297628878&rtpof=true&sd=true

A few things to note based on the spreadsheet:
- we can get some of the data directly from the MHR database such as the location of the home and total numbers of homes in a home park.
- Assessed value might have to involve BC Assessments
- Not sure about the values under AU234_TOTAL_NUMBER, AU234_TOTAL_ASSESSED_VALUE, Avg Size, or Residents
- Would need to have some help with mapping locations in the MHR with these jurisdictions/jur_codes.
- Using Postal Codes might give us the best chance to map to jur codes

The team is being asked to estimate what our effort looks like, and what sort of hand offs need to occur.

Research direction

Start with the linked spreadsheet template and the MHR database sources for home locations, park totals, assessed values, sizes, and residents. Determine which fields are available, how postal codes could map homes to jur_codes, and which BC Assessment handoffs are required; done means an effort estimate and documented handoffs for the requested report.
