Transport Permit Address and check - check Lot and PAD

There are concerns from Staff about the Permit Address entry, from Sharon:

"The issue for transport permits and locations for MHR is that the Canada post lookup is populating both the whole home address including the pad # and the pad # is entered in separate field as well. This is not proving to be helpful and shows up incorrectly in legacy db.

I also want to share my deepest concern that with this Canada post mailing address lookup- that it does NOT contain civic addresses that would need different mailing addresses for rural properties; AND that this type of input will NOT assist us in being able to search homes by an address or be able to detect that a MH already exists on that same lot/pad # in a park. (reasons why we need this: we don’t want to authorize permits for homes to be moved onto a pad in a park that is already occupied by another home- we need to prevent this so that it forces the owner of the other home to either give us the location change or non-residential exemption forms; and MHR Staff need ability to search for homes by location (can we conduct a search by the park and pad name?).. as our current options without this feature are not perfect, lengthy and rely on names only)

Is there some way we can review how locations are being handled in the new system?"
