Correction and Amendment flow - Need for Comments

Currently correction and amendment for MHR can only update the current view of a home. If something specific to a past transaction (e.g. declared value) was completed in error there is no way to update that past filing.

Discussion has taken place on whether adding a "comment" field in the correction would add value. Policy has noted there could be concerns in sharing the comment information so if desired further policy review would be needed.

Task:
1) Review process for companies in the modernized system (Sole Proprietorship and Companies) to see what abilities exist for correction, and whether comments are included.
2) Review practicality of approach of including comments. Note if they could not display for end users and staff had only made a note about an update to a historical record, does this actually add any value?
3) Confirm current process if a client reaches out about a mistake on a specific filing. E.g. client states they entered wrong declared value on transfer, immediately after it completed or after time has passed and other changes have been made.
