Description
Originated with OPS ticket 1387.
In new version PPR - the Make and Model fields have been separated out. in the cases where Manufactured Homes do not have a "Make" registered and only a model #- the PPR user is unable to bypass a Make or a Model - it requires them to complete both.
The expected behavior here would be allowing for one or the other and not both.. or it should have an indication that if the MH Registration does NOT contain a Make- they should put in the Manufacturer's name in the Make field.
In this case I told the client to put in Triple M Homes into the Make and then input the Model # as shown on the MHR search pdf report.
Many manufacturers do not have a "Make" that is different - but usually have a "model".
Right now PPR is forcing both fields when our registrations do not provide this to them nor do they understand what needs to be input.
Options:
1. Include text to advise client to enter manufacturer name as Make if the home doesn't have one.
2. Revise validation rules for Make and Model for MH Collateral type. (are both fields required in db?)
3. If MH Reg # entered, retrieve Serial Number, Make and Model from MHR. (if multiple sections, generate multiple MH collateral entries)
