Description

**Description**

Assess and define a streamlined Sandbox onboarding model that supports different user types, including government partners, API consumers, and prospective clients who wish to explore and evaluate APIs before completing full onboarding.

The initiative will identify user groups, their goals and access requirements, evaluate opportunities to reduce onboarding friction, and define appropriate controls, limitations, and governance for Sandbox access.

**Objectives**

- Understand Sandbox user personas and their onboarding needs.
- Evaluate options for a lightweight Sandbox access model (e.g., no-fee, evaluation access, etc.).
- Reduce administrative effort and onboarding time for exploratory and proof-of-concept use cases.
- Define access controls and account requirements
- Define constraints or limitations that need to be applied.
- Improve the overall partner onboarding experience while maintaining appropriate security and governance.

**Outcome**

Implemented Sandbox onboarding model approach to streamline partner onboarding, reduce administrative overhead, and provide a lower-friction path for exploratory, proof-of-concept, and evaluation use cases.
