Description
**Describe the task**
Ansley will get their system ready to contribute to the ETL, but will need some assistance getting there. Offer some tips / advice for any snags and double check the configuration looks good before they start to write python for the ETL. Basically help (as needed) Ansley get the point right before they start to write the python.
**Purpose**
Ansley will help us complete the ETL while learning more about the technical side of the process.
**Ansley's Steps**
- [x] download & install Node.js version 20 via nvm
- [x] download & install DBeaver
- [x] download & install Docker
- [x] download & install git
- [x] download & install VSCode
- [x] clone the repo
- [ ] set up local dev env,
- [ ] get docker running -> **currently stuck here**
- [ ] connect to database
- [ ] get dev config for secrets
- [ ] find ETL files in the repo, requirements.txt
- [ ] install python dependencies
- [ ] set up the first pull request in git
**Additional context**
- I will try to do this independently as possible but I will need some help as I go. Time box to 1 day because if it's going to take longer, it's too costly.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the local development environment and the Docker setup, since Docker is the current blocker. Then locate the ETL files and requirements.txt, connect to the database, obtain the development secrets configuration, and install the Python dependencies. Done means the environment is working and Ansley can begin the first pull request.
