In some cases, an applicant would choose to withdraw their application as opposed to see it through the process and get an approved registration. Currently, a client must email Housing to request their application be refused, which can only be done after an 8 day Notice period.

A withdrawal process would be valuable to clients so that they can immediately remove the application from consideration, and, in the future, potentially tie into a streamlined refund process.

A withdrawal state would also be viable for the Housing Examiners by offering a distinction between applications that were refused on grounds of policy and regulation, and applications that were withdrawn self-serve by the client

- When can the withdrawal process be initiated?
- Could there be situations where a full refund would not be considered, and only a partial refund given?
- Would a withdrawn application still show in the hosts dashboard?
- Could an applicant take a withdrawn application and resubmit it?
