Description

Both Py and Fd show a slightly increasing compatibility on a generic grassland type in the IDFxh1 in which both are modelled at about 30% feasibility by the end of the century. This does not make a lot of sense to me. It is worth noting that there is also in general an edatopic difference between grasslands and forested areas in that the former tend to have finer-textured soils that favour grassland establishment over that of forests. Increasing temperature is not going to change this so that Gg sites are likely to remain Gg sites in the future irrespective of changes in precipitation and temperature.
